YOUR CREATIVE COMMUNITY

Beautifully Jewish celebrates and enriches Jewish life through art, creativity, and heartfelt connection. Founded as a podcast at Tablet Magazine, it has since blossomed into an independent, international community of makers, dreamers, and doers—Jews who find meaning and joy in creating beauty, together.

We are artists and art-lovers, knitters and crocheters, musicians and mavens of the handmade. We gather weekly through a newsletter, connect in our Facebook group, meet for free Zoom sessions with inspiring Jewish creatives, and come together in person to craft, learn, and uplift one another.

Jewishness and craft have long been sources of blessing and light. But after October 7, 2023, many of us realized we were no longer welcome in some of the creative spaces we once called home. So we made our own.

We launched a knit-along to support Israeli soldiers and civilians, sending hundreds of handmade hats, dolls, and cards to those in need. We created Sukkah panels for Kibbutz Alumim, and with a little help from our friends, shipped hundreds of pounds of yarn and supplies to hotel-bound evacuees. And we’re planning our own trip to Israel in May 2026.
